Welcome to the 40th Anniversary of the Southern Invitational Music Festival

 

The Sprayberry Band of Gold and the Sprayberry Band Booster Association extend their sincere gratitude for your attendance today and for your continued support of music education. We believe that participation in band is a transformative experience—one that enriches the lives of students, educators, and communities for years to come.

The Southern Invitational holds a special place among music festivals. Since its founding, it has been presented as a service to music education rather than as a fundraiser. Our goal is to provide a high-quality, educational, and rewarding experience for directors, audience members, and, most importantly, the outstanding young musicians who grace the field and stage today.

Each participating ensemble is offered the opportunity to learn from a panel of distinguished adjudicators, chosen for both their expertise and their commitment to providing constructive and encouraging feedback. It is our sincere hope that every ensemble departs today inspired, enriched, and proud of its achievements.

Equally important to us is the experience of every student, director, staff member, and family in attendance. Our dedicated student and adult volunteers strive to ensure that each guest feels welcomed and valued, reflecting the hospitality and spirit of the Sprayberry Band community.
